| RMM-8T UNIVERSAL TRINOCULAR METALLURGICAL MICROSCOPE |
Produces clear, sharp and brightfield images of
prepared metal samples and other specimens. Standard magnification
is 40x to 600x, which can be further increased up to 2000x with
optional objectives and eyepieces. DIN Size coated optics are
offered as standard equipment.
Trinocular observation head consists of adjustment for interpupillary
distance, dioptic focussing and a lever for diverting light
from Binocular Head to Photo-Tube. A common built-in transformer
provides two illumination systems, 6V-20W, for vertical &
transmitted light. Koehler's type vertical illuminator provides
ample reflected light for all visual, photo & camera requirements,
at all magnifications, is fitted with filter slot, aperture
& field diaphragms. Transmitted light illuminator is provided
with sub-stage condenser for background lighting of holes, pits
and translucent objects. Coaxial coarse & fine focus control
knobs move the stage and low-positioned co-axial mechanical
stage knobs are adjacently placed for convenient control.

It is compact in size, light in weight and easy to carry around. The microscope permits examinations on the desk and also on the spot examination of an object in original size and shape in factories and laboratories. The microscope unit is clamped on a pillar stand, on which the height can be adjusted according to requirements. It is fitted with inclined observation head, coarse focussing by rack and pinion, fine adjustment by lever-microscrew system, having graduated scales of 0.002 mm. Incident light through Epi-illuminator with centring provision, field and aperture diaphragm, slot for dropping filters, quadruple revolving nosepiece, V shape plain stable base. Supplied with variable light control transformer, 6V 20 Watts. Halogen Bulb, two filters in mount, Vinyl cover and following optical combination in box.
